The algorithm iterates each day in the range, skipping weekends (or whichever days you've unmarked as working) and matching country holidays. Observed-on-Monday rules and regional / state-level holidays are not modelled — for contractual deadlines, cross-check against the official calendar.

How It Works
Count mode iterates through each day in the range and counts only those that are (a) in your configured work week and (b) not a public holiday for the selected country. The result tells you how many actual working days fall between two dates.
Add mode starts from a date and counts forward (or backward for negative numbers) by business days, skipping weekends and holidays. This is useful for deadlines — "10 business days from today" accounts for weekends and holidays.
Holiday data includes both fixed holidays (same date every year, like July 4th) and variable holidays (different dates each year, like Thanksgiving or Easter). Data covers 2025-2026 for 15 countries.
